Focused on the airports, the Space Truss is very suitable for Hangars due to the large spans needed such as the Iberia maintenance Hangar at Barcelona international airport with 155 meters free of pillars. This structure also holds 4 overhead travelling platforms of 60 tons each.

Hangars
All type of Hangars from the smallest ones to the largest ones built with spans of more than 150 meters at the air side suitable for the biggest aircrafts of the world. The Hangars are mostly used for maintenance and our structures support huge loads such as several overhead travelling cranes up to 60Tn each or even more.
Heliports
Apart from roof structures, the Space Truss can also be used to support the platform of a heliport which needs to be light weighted or just in the top of a building. The number of hypotheses considered in this case is very high and covers all the possible landing positions.
Terminals
The airport terminals have to be open space so the Space Truss fixes in an appropriate way. It can be used for the main building or for the connection corridors.
Others
Asteca provides other type of structures like fingers to the runways, radio-altimeter supports and any other installations that an airport may need.
