ACEMAX

ACEMAX is a Level 3 A-SMGCS - an essential tool for making airport traffic more efficient and above all safe. ACEMAX particularly addresses and prevents conflict situations and congestion without disturbing the natural flow of all airport surface movements. It holds all ICAO, Eurocontrol and EUROCAE defined elements as there are; Surveillance, Guidance, Planning and Control.

ACEMAX differentiates itself from many other A-SMGCS systems by its smart and hardware independent design. Its practically unlimited extension possibilities, its straightforward and intuitive Users Interface and the use of the latest technology advantages.

ACEMAX is a modular and scaleable system. An open system architecture is employed for ease of implementation and communication with other systems, and permits the system to be tailored to meet the operational requirements of different users. The system building blocks are commercial off-the-shelf industrial computer running specialised application software. Existing sensors such as radar are used for the surveillance task.

Central server collect data from sensors and other systems, perform processing and distribute the processed data to the controller working positions (CWP). The various components of the system communicate via an off-the-shelf high-speed computer network.

 

InfoMax - ACC and Airport Tower Information System

InfoMax is an ACC and Airport Tower Information System that combines data from various sources on a single screen, including AFTN-Information, data from wind, temperature, QNH and RVR sensors as well as information from Navaids, lighting, stop bars and ATIS. The screen layout is highly configurable and also allows the control of the airfield lighting.

Various ways to communicate with external systems are possible, like TCP/IP, UDP, serial lines, etc. and commonly used standards (e.g. Asterix, XML) are used as far as possible. Interfaces to external sensors/systems using proprietary data formats can be easily added. The InfoMax server runs in a fully redundant configuration and performs data-mirroring between the exec and standby servers. By that means, high availability as required for safety critical applications can be achieved.

The InfoMax HMI is fully configurable and consists of a number of pages which are also fully configurable. The user can easily navigate through the pages simply by pressing hyperlink buttons on the page or by using the "Tabs" on the upper edge of the screen.

DIFLIS - electronic flight strip system

DIFLIS is a fully digital representation of paper flightstrips on a computer touch-pen display. The main design goal of DIFLIS was to keep the flight strip representation and workflow similar to what the controllers are already used to, while automating every day tasks as much as possible.

DIFLIS flightstrips are identical in structure to paper flightstrips. The controller arranges the flightstrips in a number of bays that represent the state of the flightstrips.

Each flightstrip contains data-fields that are automatically updated by the system with configurable information derived from the flightplan. Each field can be edited by the controller, and modified information is returned to the flightplan processing system. Updated information is therefore available to all other positions.

DIFLIS can be tailored to support established workflows, especially for tower applications where the controllers can move a strip through a number of controller working positions (e.g. clearance delivery, ground, and tower) just by clicking on the flightstrip "action button". Thus a flightstrip can be moved through the workflow with a single click on the "action button" in 95% of all cases.
