Gold Coast Airport Bird and Wildlife Management Program

Gold Coast Airport in collaboration with Avisure was the first airport in Australia to formulate a Bird and Wildlife Management Plan which complies with the national framework for ‘Bird and Animal Management’ at airports. Avisure’s field biologists currently assist Gold Coast Airport Operations Officers in their role of active bird management, equipped with state of the art bird dispersal equipment.
