Customised hangar doors

Bothe-Hild offers hangar doors for many different situations. Doors with widths of up to 100m and heights of up to 25m can be provided.

The doors' construction consists of aluminium or steel frames, dimensioned by static requirements. A choice of glazing or closed fillings is available, or full-faced cladding with steel sandwich panels (with the option of single-window elements) can be used.

To avoid the additional load of the hall construction the load transfer normally takes place at the bottom (especially for renovation or retrofitting). Customised hangar doors can be manually or electrically operated.

Hangar Sliding Doors

Special solutions for doors in sizes up to 100m x 25m are constructed as steel sliding doors or telescope-sliding doors with an integrated or fitted facade structure. In this case it is also possible to choose the different kind of filling materials, and double-skin sheet or threefold glazing are ideal for providing better heat insulation.

The guide rails are aligned with the bottom to reach an unproblematic crossing. They also are equipped with drainage systems. The installation of single-leaf personnel doors facilitates comfortable movement.

Small hangar, side-sectional, folding and sliding doors

Our range of hangar doors is completed by small hangar, side sectional, folding and sliding doors.

Rolling doors in widths of up to 25m and heights of up to 18m are available from Bothe-Hild. The huge rolling doors we provide consist of cold-rolled, 1.2mm thick aluminium profiles, which are manufactured in our factory in Luckenbach. The aluminium band is rolled over profiling machines and the finished lamellae are then pushed into one another. The profiles have a height of 100mm and a depth of 22mm, and are linked with one another in a waterproof, hinge-like way.

For reasons of insulation the lamellae are equipped with a 20mm thick hard-foam core. The lateral lamellae are linked with one another through synthetic slide parts and are thus secured against lateral displacement.

Large-size sectional doors

Bothe-Hild manufactures sectional doors with a door surface of up to 100m². Established know-how in the area of statics and the required drive technology are the basis for conception, construction and installation of such large doors. Customers in the wind energy, steel and special-purpose machinery sectors require this efficiency in providing solutions and often challenge us with door sizes which hitherto have not been produced.

Even when sectional doors of more than 12m in width are required, Bothe-Hild can present solutions, such as our door with a movable middle column.

Right from the initial planning phase of a project, it is crucial to have the right partner. Bothe-Hild's technicians are in constant dialogue with architects, foremen and clients to specify the construction, structural engineering and installation techniques that will be required.

Furthermore, the Bothe-Hild engineers' office takes on static calculations, draws up the documentation including all the detail drawings, and puts all the necessary information at the client's disposal.
