Copperchase has established a number of strategic partnerships with the industry's leading suppliers to ensure that it can offer a total turn-key solution to both established and emerging Air Traffic Service Units.
The Copperchase Middle Eastern business has been set up to capitalise on the overwhelming demand in Iraq for companies to assist in the rebuilding and resettlement projects that are required by the government and private agencies. Copperchase is well placed to benefit from the exciting opportunities that are available in the Region.
ATC Tower Flight Data & Airport Meteorological Data Display
The Copperchase Flight Data & Airport Meteorological Data Display Systems provides ATC staff (Departure and Approach Control) with a tool to display and manage flight data and meteorological information in the Tower and Approach environments.
For Flight Data, a sophisticated level of user control is achieved through the use of a flight plan (FLP) database, storing all of the flight related information such as Delays, Changes and Slots. Movement Logs may be generated for input into Billing systems.
The Meteorological System operates in a similar manner to an Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) at an airfield. It consists of a set of meteorological sensors located at appropriate points on the airfield, a data-gathering processor running METSYS software, and a number of distributed MET displays.
The sensors send raw or averaged meteorological data at periodic intervals, typically of 30 seconds. The data gateway processor reads the incoming data and stores it in a database for later distribution to MET displays or to other systems.
The information collected and displayed by the METSYS will be used by ATC staff, meteorologists, pilots and flight dispatchers to prepare and monitor weather forecasts, plan flight routes, and provide necessary information for correct takeoffs and landings.
Copperchase ATS Message Handling Systems (AMHS)
The Copperchase AMHS is a high-performance multi-protocol message server that connects to a multitude of communications networks used in the ATS environment. The system is primarily an Internet Protocol Suite (IPS) Mail Server which conforms to ICAO standards such as Annex 10 for AFTN Systems and the ATN SARPs for AMHS X.400 applications. The total Copperchase AMHS solution paves a way for a seamless transition from todayís ATC messaging service of the AFTN to the exciting world of the Aeronautical Message Handling Service (AMHS).
The Copperchase AMHS provides comprehensive tools to support the system administrator. Management features include the abilities to re-route messages, to time schedule message channels for cost and to control message flow. Comprehensive logging is provided for audit and message tracking.
Airfield Ground Lighting Control (AGL) Systems
The Copperchase AGL Control & Monitoring System offers touch-screen control and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) packages tailored to the individual needs of the airfield operation.
Airfield layouts are redrawn electronically and configured to accommodate changes to layout and additional circuits.
A modular PLC design allows for increased numbers of Input/Outputs (I/Os) to be added quickly and easily.
Voice Communications Control Systems and Recorders
Copperchase offer a number of options for VCCS applications from a fully digital switch based upon TCP/IP communications that has been specially designed to meet the needs of operators working around the clock in mission-critical situations. To a smaller, yet fully functional analogue budget switch for the smaller airfield applications.
The digital switch, the TCS -990 is a third generation voice switch. Its design is based on twenty years of experience in building voice switches for use in critical communications. The switch supports external IP or telecom networks, remote line interfaces and a variety of touch-screen operator panels.
The Copperchase Small Voice Communications Control System (SVCCS) is targeted at the smaller regional airports market for voice communications market in the smaller regional airports.
The SVCCS may also be used as a contingency/emergency system for larger VCCS installations (Emergency Handset Systems).
Copperchase is able to install ATC Recorders from a number of its preferred manufacturers
