Security Gates
Cova offer a range of both trackless bi-folding speed gates and cantilevered sliding gates, ideal for airport perimeter security use.
These gates are capable of blending with any site perimeter line, and the crash rated range is designed to prevent vehicle borne terrorist threat, effectively delivering airport perimeter security.
- CSG 10604/5 - Standard Trackless Bi-Folding Speed Gate
- CSG 10610/11 - Crash Tested Trackless Bi-Folding Speed Gate (successfully PAS 68: 2010 tested at 40mph and 50mph)
- CSG 10103 - Standard Sliding Cantilevered Gate
- CSG 10140 - Crash Tested Sliding Cantilevered Gate (successfully PAS 68: 2010 tested at 40mph)
These gates can be manufactured to suit individual requirements in terms of size and design, and the minimal installation depths are ideally suited to utility congested substructures.
Finished to customers’ required RAL number, a wide range of control options is available, eg, radio control, card access, push button controls, vehicle detection loop systems and ANPR.
Road Blockers
Cova manufacture two types of road blocker dependent upon conditions at the installation site.
- CSG 10506 - Crash Tested Shallow Mounted Road Blocker
This shallow depth blocker requires a relatively minimal foundation to accommodate the base frame, and hence is valuable in airport ramp situations. The unique folding skirt provides the same degree of protection as a solid skirted blocker, avoiding the need in many cases to re-route underground services. Successfully PAS 68: 2010 tested at 50mph.
- CSG 10503 - Crash Tested Pit Mounted Road Blocker
The original one piece blocker with full depth skirt. Requires a deeper foundation, so is suitable for congestion free sub-surfaces. Successfully PAS 68: 2010 tested at 50mph.
Both products can be supplied with a range of control options and can interface with other equipment.
Bollards
A selection of bollards is available to meet the differing needs of airport security, both on the perimeter line in conjunction with gates, and as added protection around terminal buildings.- CSG 10840/50 - Crash Tested Shallow Depth Static Bollard (successfully PAS 68: 2010 tested at 40mph and 50mph respectively)
Barriers
- CSG 10300 - Boom Barriers
These automatic rising arm barriers are designed to offer long term reliability, efficient operation and durability.
Incorporating an integral 3 phase inverter driven motor and gearbox drive, requiring only a single phase supply and providing a smooth consistent operation. Arm lengths spanning up to 9 metres are available and bespoke finishes are offered.
The Programmable Logic Controller can be programmed to suit any access control requirements.
