Consulting and support for setup of an Airport Control Center (ACC-DUS)- delair receives order from Dusseldorf Airport to support the setup of an Airport Control CenterBraunschweig, May 2010 – The Flughafen Düsseldorf GmbH has decided to launch measures to improve punctuality. These measures include the setup of a control center across the respective organisations.
The Airport Control Center (ACC) shall support all partners at the airport in order to guarantee a cooperative planning of operational processes and, due to their vicinity, to react fast and efficiently to deviations of the planning. Christoph Blume, Chairman of the management of the Flughafen Düsseldorf GmbH, says: “Due to its new function as Germany’s third hub the processes at Dusseldorf Airport have become significantly more complex.
By integrating an ACC we expect an optimisation of operational procedures and an improved interaction between all partners involved in air traffic.”
