X-Ray Imaging Components and Subsystems for Baggage and Parcel Inspection
Detection Technology offers various components for carry-on and checked-in baggage and parcel inspection systems, starting from photodiode level and ranging up to the complete X-Ray detector subsystem, typically including also the L-shaped enclosure, readout electronics and interface software to the host computer.
Detection Technology’s photodiodes and detector cards are offered with pixel sizes from 0.8 mm to 2.5 mm. Photodiodes are available as diode chips and diode arrays and with or without scintillator.
Detection Technology’s dual-energy X-Ray detector cards provide the Baggage inspection system with enhanced material discrimination, best-in-class steel penetration and wire resolution. Detection Technology also provides preamplifier ASICs for X-Ray detection and imaging purposes.
Detection technology can also provide a complete L-shaped X-Ray Imaging subsystem for security checkpoint’s baggage and parcel screening applications.

Detection Technology offers a full range of air cargo inspection as well as container and vehicle inspection solutions from photodiodes and preamplifier ASICs to complete X-Ray imaging subsystems.
Detection Technology’s photodiodes, photodiode arrays, X-ray detector cards and X-ray detector subsystems are offered with pixel sizes from 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm for air cargo scanning; and in pixel sizes from 2.3 mm to 9.2 mm for high energy X-Ray detectors for container and vehicle scanning.
