Our product range for the aviation sector comprises hoses, fittings, overwing nozzles, dry disconnect couplings and rubber expansion joints.
Quality and safety are top priorities. Since 1948 our “Yellow Band” aviation hoses are developed in close cooperation with ContiTech. Also regarding couplings, major products are own developments. Having in hand both development and production, we ensure product reliability and durability.
ELAFLEX offers a range of services, e.g. professional assembling, testing of electrical continuity and coding. Our vast stock holding capacity - and global distribution partners in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and Latin America ensure short lead times.
Aircraft Refuelling Hoses
"Yellow Band" aircraft refuelling hoses comply with all relevant standards, including the latest ISO 1825. They are suitable for all aviation gasolines, jet fuels and deicing fluids. They are specified for worldwide military and civil usage.
For improved airfield safety ELAFLEX offers aviation hoses with NEON coloured bands.
Hose Couplings
Threaded or flanged - with Spannfix or Spannloc safety clamps - most types are available ex stock.
All couplings can be supplied in tin plated (Sn) version as recommended by JIG Guidelines to avoid contact of aviation fuel with non-ferrous metals. Optimal fit of hose, hose tail and clamp are guaranteed for all our couplings.
Overwing Nozzles
Being a market leader in petrol station nozzles, our product range includes overwing nozzles for aircraft and helicopter refuelling - with AVGAS or JET-A1 spouts and suited accessories.Manual nozzles: ZVF 25 and ZVF 40.
Automatic nozzles: ZVA 25 AF (free of non-ferrous metals) and ZVA 32.
Rubber Expansion Joints
These flanged compensators are used as flexible connectors within pipe systems.
Due to their superior quality, ERV-G (“Yellow Band”) is installed on board of aircraft refuellers and dispensing vehicles worldwide.
For regions with low temperatures a special LT version is available.
Dry Aviation Couplings
Dry Disconnect Couplings are used within wet hose systems to quickly connect and disconnect hoses without spillage, under pressure.
Our associated company Mann Tek manufactures the special type DAC (Dry Aviation Coupling) for the bottom loading of aviation fuel to refuellers. DAC are compatible with all common underwing couplings.
