Synchronous/Asynchronous Data Networking

From one of our suppliers, Sangoma, we offer high-reliability RS-232 and V.35 PCI and PCIe Serial to Synchronous boards that are deployed already in many ATC installations worldwide. Whether you use the card to simplify routing and increase security using Sangoma's WANPIPE® software; you need support for an X.25 link, a datascope, an SNA connection, or a broadcast satellite feed; or you have another unique application - Sangoma's Serial Synchronous products communicate mission-critical radar control and surveillance data, essential to modern air and sea communications.

The need for synchronous communications continues to grow across a number of industries. To meet these needs Connect Tech, another one of our trusted suppliers, has designed high performance, reliable synchronous/asynchronous serial communications boards suitable for a variety of industrial and embedded applications.

Their BlueHeat/NET Sync External Device Server is based on the robust uCLinux (Linux embedded operating system). It can be programmed with application specific protocols. Blue Heat/Net Sync incorporates multiple electrical interfaces and remote configurability to free devices from a physical connection. Remote access increases location flexibility and simplifies future installations or upgrades, reducing costs.

Besides external serial/synchronous devices, Connect Tech also offers synchronous/asynchronous serial cards for the PC/104 and PCI/104 bus.

Connect Tech's FreeForm FPGA

Connect Tech’s FreeForm FPGA based products are becoming increasing more popular. FreeForm/104 and FreeForm/PCI-104 products feature a reconfigurable FPGA (Field- programmable gate arrays) for digital I/O and control applications. The versatility and high speed processing core of the FreeForm/104 makes it ideal for applications including; DSP, software defined radio, aerospace, defense systems, computer hardware emulation, production or laboratory testing and industrial process monitoring and control.

Based on Xilinx’s Spartan 3E and Virtex-5, the FreeForm product family provides off-the-shelf flexibility for your high speed, compute-intensive, reconfigurable applications. Customized FPGA configurations can be developed easily by the user with Xilinx’s free ISE WebPACK software, or through Connect Tech’s engineering services.

Digital Voice and Data Networking

Euroline offers a series of products for digital voice and data networking applications. In particular Sangoma's family of Advanced Flexible Telecommunications (AFT) boards are widely used in telephony and voice recording applications. Their hardware is designed for optimum support of voice and data over E1 and T1. Boards are available in PCI and PCIe format with 1, 2, 4 and 8 channels of E1/T1/J1. They provide for 30 up to 240 voice calls on one board, and a system can support multiple boards.

Advanced clocking features allow E1/T1/J1 lines to be mixed with full synchronization. Thousands of Sangoma AFT boards supporting routing and telephony systems have been deployed worldwide. They are also extensively used for security voice recording applications in the air transport industry. These boards can also be equipped with Octasic®'s DSP hardware and certified algorithms providing carrier-grade echo cancellation and Voice Quality Enhancement (VQE) functions.
