EYEVIS - EWS400 The new eyevis workstation EWS400 offers HighEnd Performance, Dedicated Hardware Decoding and Flexibility all in one.The EWS-400 eyevis Workstation is an ideal and cost-effective solution to drive personal walls or medium size video walls.
Equipped with the latest Hardware architecture based on Intel Quad Core CPU´s and the latest graphic boards it is possible to drive up to four HD-displays. The integrated Hardware Decoder solution is the benefit of the EWS-400 system. The EWS-400 supports simultaneous decoding of multiple IP video streams at mul¬tiple resolutions from a wide variety of cameras and codec’s. Through the internally hardware decoding architecture there is no offload for the Host system. The normal CPU is free for use for other applications.
Possible applications are: Airports, Casinos, City Monitoring, Gouvernmental Administration, Military Applications, Perimeter Surveillance, Plant Surveillance, Universities, Shopping Malls, Stadiums / Arenas.
HighEnd Performance – The EWS-400 is based on the latest available Workstation technologies with Intel QUAD Core CPU´s. The Windows based systems enables to work with standard security or Scada Applications on up to four Displays up to in HD resolution.
Dedicated Hardware Decoding – Completely offloads the system CPU from the burden of decoding multiple streams from IP cameras at the same time. Hardware decoding solves the workstation decoding bottleneck this leaving more resources free for other jobs. This allows also running more sophisticated applications while meeting demand for more camera streams, higher frame-rate and more complex codecs (H.264).
Flexibility – Up to 16x D1 or 64x CIF streams at Full Frame Rate can be displayed simultaneously on the EWS-400. Streams are displayed in their captured resolution across multiple monitors without compromising the quality of the imagery or dropping any frames.
