AFGUARD® (WATER IN FUEL) SENSOR

FAUDI Aviation developed the AFGUARD® sensor. The ex-certification for use in hazardous areas was awarded qualifying the AFGUARD for implementation in all areas/zones. Its’ sensor technology reflects the next generation of aviation fuel filtration and monitoring and is an important contribution to aviation safety, while meeting the demands of advanced progress. 

Optimal separation of free water from jet fuels prevents freezing at great attitudes and the accumulation of microorganisms. In this way, AFGUARD® ensures the supply of clean and dry fuels to the aircraft turbines even before take-off.

The innovative features include:

WATER IN JET FUEL FILTER / SEPARATOR

Another sophisticated solution is the VFC-1. This is a vertical filter / water separator, which recently passed the stringent approval tests of the American Petroleum Institute (API) to the current guideline API / EI 1581, 5th edition, category C, type S and S-LW.

COMBINED COALESCER / SEPARATOR ELEMENT

Typical applications are general aviation (e.g. small airports / airfields, fuelling cabinets, mobile refuelers, mobile units, helicopter refuelling, etc.)

JET FUEL FILTRATION TRAIN-THE-TRAINER SEMINARS

FAUDI Aviation’s 'Train the Trainer' programme teaches specialists in Stadtallendorf and all over the world.

Our area sales managers, who are the experts for jet fuel filtration, have been introducing students in minute detail to the secrets of pressure vessels, water sensors and filter elements.

With the 'Train the Trainer' programme, FAUDI Aviation ensures greater efficiency. Clients profit from knowledge transfer when the developers themselves explain their products to the users.

The special feature of the programme is that the training can take place worldwide – either at FAUDI Aviation's headquarters in Stadtallendorf or directly at clients' sites.
