In 2004 our commitment to this market was reinforced by establishing a dedicated USA engineering and manufacturing facility in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. More than 40 specialized professionals utilize industry leading technology and fully intergrated design and manufacturing systems to produce world class baggage handling solutions.
Glidepath is especially experienced in providing integrated EDS screening solutions with more than 23 projects in 13 countries and integration of over 54 Explosion Detection System (EDS) machines. These design solutions integrate EDS computer tomography (CT), X-ray machines and explosive trace detection devices (ETD's). Glidepath's in-line security screening software provides automation of fully intergated EDS systems.
Glidepath can provide ongoing operation and maintenance of newly installed and existing systems. Operation and maintenance teams can also be contracted to provide airport authorities with full building facility management, including aerobridges, conveyor systems and general building maintenance.

Terminal Western Australia selects Glidepath for Baggage Handling ProjectTerminal Western Australia has awarded the baggage handling contract for the new regional terminal located adjacent to Perth International Airport to Glidepath, a global provider of airport baggage handling and security systems. The terminal is to service the increasing number of personnel traveling within the Western Australia region.
This project includes a 100% checked bag screening facility incorporating 18 x Check-in desks, 2 Make-up and 3 Reclaim Carousels. Glidepath will also be implementing proprietary SCADA and automated high level baggage sorting technology.
Additionally, Glidepath will be installing its new plough diverter which is now present across large numbers of ports worldwide. This new equipment along with Glidepath’s unique and approved planking walkway system offers added benefit and ease for continuous maintenance regimes. These enhancements are just some of Glidepath’s ongoing improvements to the overall Baggage Handling Package.
Glidepath have previously supplied conveyor equipment to Perth International Airport and this project signifies Glidepath’s continuing growth within the Australian Baggage Handling Industry.
The project will be run over the next 10 months with the new terminal scheduled for opening around December 2012.
