Glidepath is especially experienced in providing integrated EDS screening solutions with more than 23 projects in 13 countries and integration of over 54 Explosion Detection System (EDS) machines. These design solutions integrate EDS computer tomography (CT), X-ray machines and explosive trace detection devices (ETD's). Glidepath's in-line security screening software provides automation of fully intergated EDS systems.
Glidepath can provide ongoing operation and maintenance of newly installed and existing systems. Operation and maintenance teams can also be contracted to provide airport authorities with full building facility management, including aerobridges, conveyor systems and general building maintenance.

Australian Airports Get New Generation Glidepath Baggage Handling SystemsGlidepath Group is stepping up its presence in Australia as it wins new contracts to design, manufacture and install the next generation of its customised airport baggage handling, sorting and screening systems.
“You would be hard pressed to find an Australian airport that did not already have Glidepath equipment installed,” said General Manager Australia and Asia, Rob Harvey. “We have built a credible track record for delivering reliability, accuracy and superior service to specification, on budget and in quick time. Now we are introducing the next generation of proprietary, integrated baggage and cargo identification, screening, sortation and reconciliation systems to give our long held airport clients and travellers greater confidence and travel security.”
Glidepath has work in progress or has just completed upgrading passenger check-ins and conveyor systems at a number of Australian airports, including Port Hedland, Gladstone, Mildura, Sunshine Coast, Sydney and Newcastle.
“We operate in a very competitive market but Glidepath has succeeded because we can design and manufacture within Australasia to meet the specific requirements of a job rather than simply assemble equipment from third party sources. Glidepath has completed over 500 airport design, manufacture and installation projects in 61 countries in its 37 year history and has strong forward orders and opportunities to be in the bidding for projects coming on stream to bring baggage handling and security x-ray and tracking systems up to the standard required in a number of countries, including the Americas, Australasia and India where it has recently opened an office in Mumbai.
