Glidepath is especially experienced in providing integrated EDS screening solutions with more than 23 projects in 13 countries and integration of over 54 Explosion Detection System (EDS) machines. These design solutions integrate EDS computer tomography (CT), X-ray machines and explosive trace detection devices (ETD's). Glidepath's in-line security screening software provides automation of fully intergated EDS systems.
Glidepath can provide ongoing operation and maintenance of newly installed and existing systems. Operation and maintenance teams can also be contracted to provide airport authorities with full building facility management, including aerobridges, conveyor systems and general building maintenance.

Glidepath Awarded Baggage System Contract for Daniel Oduber Quirós Airport in Liberia, Costa RicaLeading global provider of airport baggage handlings systems Glidepath has secured a contract to provide a baggage system to Daniel Oduber Quirós Airport in Liberia, Costa Rica. The terminal development project is aimed at empowering the region which is gateway to some of the most spectacular and exclusive destinations in Costa Rica and the second largest airport in the country. Glidepath are contracted to the airport concessionaire Coriport S.A which holds a 20 year concession to operate the airport.
“South and Central America is a target region for us” says Glidepath’s Chairman Sir Ken Stevens, “We have committed to the region by hiring dedicated Spanish speaking sales and technical staff in order to provide local support and technical assistance to our valued customers.” Glidepath have completed over 30 projects to date in the Latin America region and Costa Rica becomes the 63rd country that Glidepath have installed its product and sold services into.
The Liberia project began in October 2010 and has a total budget of USD35 million with the baggage system due to be commissioned by July 2011. Glidepath worked with Mr. Brian Derich, Senior Project Manager and BHS specialist of MMM Group, and were awarded the detailed design component, manufacture, delivery, installation and commissioning of the of the baggage system in October 2010. The system comprises of 27 international check-in desks, plus one for oversize items, a conveyor matrix, hold baggage x-ray screening, make-up carousels along with in-bound reclaim baggage carousels. Glidepath will also provide fault monitoring of the GlideView SCADA system.
