Aircraft Tractors / Aircraft Recovery Systems
In the beginning there were individual things - static, unconnected. That was in the year 1705 in Memmingen in the forge belonging to the Goldhofer family.
Then these things started to be wheeled, became handcarts, horse-buggies, carriages, agricultural vehicles - that was in the year 1946. The things turned into vehicles and the vehicles into transport systems. For today's dynamic transport demands, Goldhofer's operation-oriented vehicle design is closely interlinked with the highest quality in production and sales as well as with customer-oriented after-sales service. This has resulted in the highest standard of technology combined with extremely economical operation possibilities of the vehicles.

Aircraft Tractors
The aviation industry is continually facing new challenges. The large variety of different aircraft types as well as the fast growing airports require well organised logistics to be able to handle the everyday air traffic smoothly and above all economically. These challenges require also a fast and economical ground handling of the aircraft which has been met by Goldhofer in developing a complete range of towbarless aircraft tractors. The absence of towbars and the higher speeds mean that aircraft movements like pushbacks, gate-to-gate towings and maintenance towings can be carried out three times faster than with conventional towbar tractors.
Aircraft Recovery Systems
Based on the experience gained during many successful aircraft recovery operations worldwide and in close collaboration with recognized recovery experts, Goldhofer has designed and built the ARTS recovery system (Aircraft Recovery and Transport System). The flexible concept enables the customers to select a custom-made recovery system which ideally meets the prevailing conditions.
