MFlow Journey and MFlow Exit Lanes

HRS provide a series of products and services that aid airport management by monitoring and automating passenger journeys through the airport environment. As part of our suite of MFlow products designed for the aviation sector MFlow Exit Lanes uses video analytic technology to monitor passenger exit routes between secure and non-secure areas.

The system automatically detects individuals attempting to access secure areas, suspicious behaviour such as loitering and unattended objects, it can then lock doors immediately preventing access. This automation allows passengers to travel with far less intrusion into their journey and can enable significant improvement in passenger movement through these zones.

MFlow Journey enables airports operators to monitor accurately the times taken by passengers to pass through critical airport areas and bottle necks using biometric facial recognition technology. Working anonymously and passively it enables airport operators to reduce queue times and increase time spent in retail and commercial areas. Both boosting customer satisfaction and commercial revenue.

MFlow Track and MFlow Detect

MFlow Detect provides a system utilising video analytics to monitor physical perimeter areas around an airport, using thermal imaging cameras it ensures the system can continue to monitor the scene at night and unpredictable weather conditions.

The flexibility of the system ensures that operators can detect intrusions from unauthorised individuals whilst allowing planes or other vehicles to pass through detection zones without raising an alert.

MFlow Track has been designed primarily for use in airports. It automates the secure and fast flow of passengers through specific points in an airport (e.g. security and border check points) by enabling an airport to assign a biometric of a passenger to a form of identification (e.g. boarding pass).

This ensures that only that person can travel through security with that form of identification, as well as speeding the process of passenger travel up by removing repetitive security checks.

HRS offers a unique simulation product that enables airport operators to recreate accurate models representing the behaviour of real life people and real world systems and subjecting them to predictive experimentation.

The value of MFlow Forecast is that it enables airports to invest and plan efficiently to achieve optimum security, customer satisfaction and commercial revenue but that months worth of testing is achieved in a matter of minutes, further minute moments in an individual passengers journey are fully revealed in the consequences they have over a day’s performance which traditional testing would struggle to identify.

Identity Management

MyIdentity, staff access and identity verification

The management of identity is also a key product and service area in which HRS has nearly 10 years’ experience, we utilise a diverse set of biometric technologies from Iris, Hand, Face, Finger and Vein Recognition integrated with forms of identification such as staff ID cards to manage and secure staff access points.

This system can be used not only to ensure that people accessing the airport are who they say they are.

Our identity management systems also spread to other areas in the airport environment, our MyIdentity product is designed around the critical task of ensuring staff are who they say they are.

By providing an automated system that integrates biometric verification technology it speeds up and secures the process of ensuring staff or individuals gaining access to the airport site are who they claim to be.

The system can be linked to numerous databases to reduce the time intensive process of paper based checks and improving the security using biometrics over identification such as utility bills and driving licences.
