Gate Control

The Nedap gate controller links gates with a network that centrally monitors the door settings and with a database that contains the personal data and biometric characteristics of the airport’s staff. At the same time the controller manages the task of locally controlling the gate.

A winning combination that significantly improves security and efficiency. The gatecontroller works by linking the personal data on somebody´s card, that person´s biometric data and the code (flight number) to a predefined door configuration.

After the correct values have been entered, the gate is set up according to the agreed procedure, saving time and reducing errors thereby leading to greater safety.

Security Level Management

The Security Level Management option in AEOS ensures a ready response to security incidents. Security Levels enables a security manager to override the normal categorization of employees, visitors and contractors, and to redefine these into special groups with alternative access rights during crises, emergencies or increased threat levels.

By pre-defining a scenario that introduces a different control mode for a specified group of people and entrances, you can switch to a different set of authorizations in a matter of seconds. These override security settings may even be used to add verification control, Anti-Pass Back or counting at certain entrances.

By creating refined combinations of carrier groups and entrance groups you can design an appropriate response to any predictable security incident.

Contractor and Vendor Management

AEOS Contractor and Vendor Management simplifies separate enrolment and automated assignment of access rights. Instead of classifying all non-employees as visitors, the system recognizes vendors, contractors, subcontractors and visitors.

Each of these categorie of persons can have a separate access rights template. AEOS can also filter events/alarms according to person category and automatically block contractors and vendors as soon as their contract or permit has expired.

AEOS Contractor and Vendor Management gives security managers a clear overview of who is present in the building, distinguishing between employees, contractors and vendors, generating separate presence lists if desired.

Tracking contractors presence also make it possible to check whether they actually work the hours declared on their invoices.
