Passenger, baggage and cargo handling are the main focus of the Airport Solutions from PSI Logistics.

PSIairport/BHS
PSIairport/BHS is a state of the art, efficient baggage control system that routes and manages baggage from check in to aircraft loading.
Years of experience at German and international airports have paved the way for a package of modules from which baggage conveyor operators can choose optimum components to suit their needs.
Tailor-made enhancements allow the operator to accurately assess system status and the current situation and to react appropriately, for example, by using the graphic planning control centre.
Logically graded system messages also support the operator, along with the clear and intuitive operating options. Context-sensitive assistance is also provided to the operator.
PSIairport/BRS
In accordance with I.C.A.O. annex 17, a baggage item must not be carried without the associated passenger being confirmed on board. Many manual procedures have been created to deal with this requirement but not until automated procedures were created could maximum securitiy be ensured.
PSIairport/BRS receives information about each individual piece of baggage along with authorization to load them. Each piece of baggage is scanned during the loading procedure.
A handheld scanner is used to enter data about each piece of baggage, the means of storage and its position therein into a data management system. The system also records which passengers have boarded the aircraft and which have not.
The BRS can determine the location of this baggage by using the entries which have been made previously.
PSIairport/FIDS
The precise, correct and on time information of passengers and operating staff is essential for today‘s airports. Especially in an unfamiliar environment and under time pressure relevant information has to be transported fast, clearly and reliable but also attractive and appealing to passengers.
Because of this the Flight Information Display System is a critical business application for any airport. With its proven, modern and flexible technology of PSIairport/FIDS
PSI Logistics offers today‘s airports the opportunity to additionally gain revenue by selling advertisements within the layouts for Flight Information Displays.
Using different concepts, all available and attached display devices can be used to offer both types of information to the passenger. Thus a refinancing of the initial system invest can be achieved in a short period of time.
PSIairport/W&B
PSIairport/W&B is based on day-to-day requirements in the real world of loading an aircraft. PSI created a system which covers the significant requirements of Weight and Balance. In addition, it has been structured in such a way, that future changes or individual user requirements can be taken into account.
The relevant data, in particular the master data, can be entered straight from the Pilot Operating Handbook. The output of the relevant lists and documents (e.g. load sheet) occurs in a standardised format in accordance with IATA AHM.
Any messages to be sent to other systems after a flight event has been completed are created in accordance with the IATA Passenger Service Conference Resolutions Manual.
The mapping of the work processes and the conversion of the user guidance to the ‘Single Screen Interface’ allow fast orientation and easy, safe operation.
