Portec Belt Power Curves strong, all-steel frames come with a five-year warranty. Built for the most rugged operating conditions experienced in an airport baggage system, Portec equipment is designed so that most jams will not damage the conveyor or conveyor belt.
Portec’s guide system meets industry noise requirements, less than 75 dB(A) at a belt speed of 140 meters per minute.

Portec Spiral Curves Lift and Turn Your Baggage
Portec Spiral Curves offer a unique design that accomplishes both elevation and direction differentials with a single unit.
The positive-drive, loose-belt system is designed for reliable operation in heavy-duty applications, such as: continuous high speeds, high cycling, heavy loads and steep inclines.
Portec Spiral Curves are not affected by sudden load changes on the belt, temperature variations, contamination on/under the belt, incorrect belt tension or high cycling operations that can often damage friction-driven belt conveyors.

Angle-Flo Conveyor for Merge/Diverge Operations
Portec Angle-Flo® angle merge conveyors are ideal for integrating baggage and cargo flows from two parallel conveyor lines to one combined flow or receiving deflected baggage onto a secondary line. Portec’s Angle-Flo® is very reliable at high speeds to maximize throughput.
The Angle-Flo® angle merge conveyors are available in 30° or 45° angles and provide quiet, smooth positive transfer. With precise indexing, throughput and rapid start/stop capability, the Angle-Flo® is your preferred merging solution.
The Angle-Flo XA is available for slow and medium speeds or intermittent high-speed operation, while the Angle-Flo® air bar version is recommended for heavy-duty applications or high-sustained speeds.
ChuteMaster Fiberglass Spiral Chute
Portec's ChuteMaster® fiberglass spiral chute is the solution for transporting baggage and cargo from upper levels to main conveying areas without drives or controls.
Portec uses the highest quality hand-laid fiberglass process to deliver a solution not impacted by changes in environment, such as heat and humidity.
The surface coating is extremely durable and assists products to flow freely, gently and safely. Standard 90° chute components are available in several diameters.
Specially designed round-bottom profiles help control the descending speed of the baggage and cargo.
With the optional multi-entry modules, a Portec ChuteMaster® is a convenient and economical option for moving baggage and cargo.
