Aircraft Recovery Systems
RESQTEC was founded by Axel Maarschalk in 1972. Originally named Zumro, we were the world partner with Hurst Performance and developed the first hydraulic rescue tool together, the legendary 32.
After the 32 a complete range of high performance hydraulic and pneumatic rescue systems, including Hydraulic cutters, spreaders, rams and pneumatic lifting bags followed.
RESQTEC Zumro has a large Research and Development department and with their manufacturing plants, they are responsible for major world changing development like the NT Lifting bags, Q1 confined space cutters and the R2s Aircraft Recovery system.
Why Aircraft Recovery?
When your airport is closed by an aircraft sliding off the runway and getting bogged down, it is a little late to start thinking about your recovery procedures!
Plan now for the unfortunate day when you are confronted with that difficult task.
Make arrangements to ensure the prompt availability of the appropriate recovery equipment and expert operators that may be required.
The best way to prepare for an aircraft recovery is to establish a planning team, define your risk potential and raise the awareness at senior management level.
Present a business case that is based on information that shows the economical advantages of being adequately prepared, equipped and trained for these situations.

Why Aircraft Recovery?
Remember, a runway closed for even a short period of time can result in the loss of millions.
In many cases an airport or airline can obtain an immediate return on their investment if they are capable of timely and safely removing the aircraft from the runway.
RESQTEC help clients with their recovery planning efforts and assist in business case development.
We can evaluate your situation and present a plan that involves recommendations for equipment, training and recovery procedures based on the clients risk potential. After budgets and plans are available, the choice of equipment can be made.
Keep in mind the technological developments that can make your recovery easier and remember a closed runway, even for a short period of time, can result in the loss of millions.

Aircraft Recovery Products
In 2000 RESQTEC was asked by Airbus and IATA ARTF to develop a solution to overcome problems with traditional tooling, and; to overcome problems created by New Large Aircraft (NLA), to find recovery system besides cranes that enables continuous lifting and to save time in recovery operations.
The R2s (short for Rapid Recovery Solution) is the breakthrough for rapid recovery.
The system consist of Low pressure bags, High pressure RESQTEC NT bags, a frame and straps and is designed to follow the lateral ARC movement of the aircraft.
R2S is able to follow the changing angle and retain stability making continuous lifting possible, without the risk of buckling out.
RESQTEC R2s Maxx
Aircraft Recovery Products
The R2s Maxx system is especially designed for the A380. With multiple columns of R2s this systems gives the same advantages of the R2s single column system.RESQTEC can offer a full range of products, consisting among others of multisling, temporary roads fuselage trailer, tethering and de-bogging kits.
