RADAR RECORDING & REPLAY SOLUTIONS FOR ATC - When using Ricochet for radar recording and replay there are basically two methods of data acquisition, either from LAN or from Serial lines.

For replay:

• Feeding the replay out onto the same type of carrier and with the same format as it had when present in real-time, for presentation on the native radar display.
• Using the Ricochet Movable Object Display, which is a radar/track viewer integrated with Ricochet CATCH Control Panel.

RICOCHET RECORDING & REPLAY SOLUTIONS FOR ATC

SCREEN RECORDING & REPLAY SOLUTIONS FOR ATC - The software helps you to record the screen to mirror all operations, including mouse movements, and information displayed to the controllers. This tool is optimized for fast recall, as well as for incident investigations. Both At The Glass, as displayed for the controller, and Through The Wall, the raw data information, are available. In APP and GMC environments, you can add recording and replay of metrological information, CCTV cameras and ambient microphones to give controllers best possible information before they make their decisions.

CCTV RECORDING & REPLAY SOLUTIONS FOR ATC
For reproduction of the various data types, Ricochet replay software exists for audio, radar and CCTV. However, it is also possible to use the regular applications to reproduce recorded data, as Ricochet upon replay feeds the data back in the same form as it had when it was recorded. The Ricochet Recording and Replay solution supports recording and replay of all types of cameras; analogue, digital and CoIP. 

 

RICOCHET CATCH - PLAYBACK, ADMINISTRATION AND REPORTS

REPLAY
The Ricochet Replay Control Panel has been a significant contributor to the success of the Ricochet solution. Ricochet has taken the technology further with Ricochet CATCH, making all sources accessible through the same tool, replayed in perfect synchronization.

DATA IMPOUND
The process of impounding data is automated and the relevant data are easy to select and extract for further analysis. The data can be copied to a suitable removable media and given to the investigators. The solution includes a tool to verify that the data has not been tampered with, as well as the new Impound Player, protected by a USB lock.

EXPORT
The Ricochet solution offers easy export of a chosen audio and video channel/period to a single file. This file can be replayed by a simple Media Player and distributed through mail or sources like a CD or a USB.

Open Replay API

The communication between the CATCH Replay Client and the Replay Server is defined by the Ricochet Replay API, a simple but effective TCP communication protocol that is fully documented and open to use for anyone.

ADMINISTRATION
Users and user groups are easily administrated by Ricochet CATC. Channel utilization statistics are logged and can be viewed graphically. Actions performed by users are logged, and by having access to the Audit Trail part of the administration tool the Audit Trail can be viewed. A comprehensive monitoring and alarm system is featured in the system.

SIMULATION AND TRAINING
For training of controllers through simulation of real scenarios from a live system, Ricochet’s distributed recording and replaying solution is the perfect tool. Operated from ONE central position, Ricochet CATCH offers synchronous replay of data on several remote replay stations. Genuine recorded data and incident scenarios can be replayed and the instructor at the operating station is able to tailor made the content to each individual student. Debriefing can be done by using ATG screen recording and audio recording of the training.

DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS
It is easier than ever to create and maintain a large, distributed system of Ricochet recording units due to the new generation Ricochet with an enhanced and improved modular architecture. By using the new replay server/manager and administration server/manager architecture, any number of autonomous recording units can be integrated via one access point, Ricochet CATCH client application provides system-wide access to replay and administration. The recorded channels from the different recorders are presented seamlessly to the user.
