From our base in Mierlo, The Netherlands, we design, manufacture and supply turnkey Cargo Handling Equipment and Systems based on standard conveyor decks, truck docks, dolly docks, workstations, scissor lifts, weighing stations, storage systems incorporating (elevating) transfer vehicles ((E)TV's) and the required control and management IT-systems. With our Slave Pallet system additional flexibility is given to the handling operation. Due to the modular design of our units, it is easy to move, modify, extend and upgrade an existing system in phases when cargo volumes grow. Users can adjust their investments to their needs.

ULD Handling and Storage Solutions for General Air Cargo
Based on 5 decades of relevant experience, SACO has a full set of handling equipment available to configure any solution that you may require.
This includes storage and conveyor decks, truck docks, dolly docks, workstations, scissor lifts, ULD hoists, (elevating) transfer vehicles ((E)TV's, pallet masters / slave pallets, Depending on the required capacity, ULD storage systems can be based on ETV’s or on the Lift & Run principle incorporating multiple TV’s and hoists.
ULD Handling and Storage Solutions for Perishable Air Cargo
The handling of perishables such as flowers, fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, and medicines etc. requires special attention.
Not only is this related to keeping the cool chain intact, segregation and storage in independent temperature controlled conditions, but also the handling equipment is to be suited for the ambient conditions and dedicated handling requirements.
ULD Handling Solutions for Postal and Express Parcel
Speed and flexibility are of the essence with Postal and Express Parcel handling. SACO has developed a reliable set of standard equipment for the ULD handling dedicated for this sector.
This is mainly based on modular castor decks, roller decks, truck docks, and integrated weighing systems.
Cargo Terminal IT systems
The SACO cargo terminal IT system includes a scalable and modular software package designed to control all the operations of a modern air cargo handling terminal, including machine automation (in co-ordination with PLCs), data processing and communication with host computer(s).It is capable of varying levels of operation. In its simplest form it is an inventory control tool and a flight staging tool with or without machine automation. It manages ULD and loose freight inventory, maintains a record of where everything is stored (manual locations, floor, shelves, conveyors) and directs the operators via step-by-step instructions through all warehouse operations.
In its expanded form, it is a true automated AWB handling system. The operator receives, breaks down, stores, retrieves and builds up AWBs. AWB requests are translated into unique ULDs, pallets, rollboxes, manual locations; it directs all underlying machinery to perform all required moves (stores, retrieves, location changes) automatically.
