Servisair reawarded management of the Philadelphia Centralized Deicing Facility (CDF)Servisair announces the renewal of their Central Deicing Facility contract with the City of Philadelphia after a competitive process taken place in July.
Since 2005, Servisair has been managing and operating the Centralized Deicing Facility (CDF) at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), one of the world’s most advanced deicing facilities. Wes Bement, Regional Director, commented: "Servisair’s experience in deicing and in executing our Standard Operating Procedures at CDFs worldwide has definitely played a part in the selection process. We are very honored that the City of Philadelphia and the airline community have confirmed their trust in our abilities to run the PHL CDF in a successful way.

Servisair performs deicing services in 18 locations in North America and in 27 cities in Europe. It also manages three Central Deicing Facilities, including Toronto International Airport’s CDF, the world’s largest CDF. Furthermore is a major deicing supplier at airports such as Denver, Boston and New York.
