On the Ground Aircraft Connection Systems
Specialist for connection systems for aircraft on the ground: from 400 Hz to PCA, through all utilities necessary for the maintenance of the aircraft.
TDA Lefébure takes charge of the complete supply system, from the conception until the full operation and the maintenance of the system, as well as the specific aircraft connection systems.
RAM402: Cable Retriever Mounted on Passenger Bridge
Its mechanical design is such that moving or rotating elements and electrical contacts have been reduced to the bare minimum, in order to minimise the risk of breakdown and the need for maintenance.
The cable is stored naturally by gravitation, avoiding useless rotation and twisting, to optimise its life expectation.
The position of the retriever on the side of the bridge eliminates the risk of collision with vehicles driving around the aircraft.
HPO400: Multi Functional Ground Pit
These pits combine the rotating flap and the elevating system to bring all connections above ground at user's level. Once connected, the pits can be closed to avoid unnecessary hurdles around the aircraft.
These pits are fully custom designed for the user's needs and can include one to eight flaps. Their modular design caters for all types of connections:
- 400 Hz, 28 VDC
- 50 Hz/60 Hz one or three phases, from 16 up to 250 A
- Compressed air, fanning air, water
- Others: computer network, earthing cable winder, etc...
HPO-PCA: PCA Ground Pit
Based on the principle of the HPO (Hatch and Pop Out) pit, the PCA pit places upon opening the PCA hose and its connector at operator's handreach, for a simplified handling and an optimal protection of the hose.
The "Tulip" shaped guiding system also eases the use and increases the protection of the PCA hose.
BRN 400
Pop-up pit for 115 V / 400 Hz power supply and earthing cable winder.
Its use is easy and effortless thanks to its patented mechanism by TDA Lefébure.
The pit can also integrate other connections: 50/60 Hz, compressed air, computer network, etc...
HPO-PCA: PCA Ground Pit
GDP 400: 400 Hz Mobile Converter
These converters, especially useful for remote parking places, can be delivered in different powers and can integrate 28VDC power supply.
The trailer has been developed for an intensive use on very busy international airports and include all safety devices (night positioning lights, mechanical safety devices) to avoid risks of accident with the people and the vehicles.
LOV 400
Cable coiler for an easy storage of the 400 Hz or 28 VDC aircraft cable.
The coiler can be used outside as well as in maintenance hangars and can be fitted with 50 Hz power sockets, an earthing cable reel, etc...
400 Hz Mobile Converter
AN400 INFRA: Operator Protection Box
Operator protection set for 400 Hz / 115 V (200 V between phases) for avionics workshop.
Specifically designed for PEN (combined Protective Earth and Neutral), to ensure a safe electrical power supply of flight instruments and equipment under repair, maintenance, test,…
CEL400: Voltage Drop Compensation Cell
These cells ensure the compensation of the voltage drop in the 400 Hz distribution cables, when the distance between the 400 Hz generation and the aircraft is important and the intensity required by the aircraft is high.
They are used especially in centralised 400 Hz installations or when a 400 Hz converter supplies more than one aircraft connector, the consumption characteristics of which differ strongly one from the other.
The cells can be installed centrally or in the immediate vicinity of the distribution point.
BC 400: 400Hz Control Box
Control box used on the tarmacs to control the functionalities of the 400 Hz power supply at aircraft connector's level.
VAL400: Control Case for 400Hz Aircraft Connector Contacts
An inadequate contact between the 400 Hz connector contacts and the aircraft socket can have important consequences on the safety. With this test case, the operators can control the wearing of the contacts, clean and maintain them within a few seconds, and anticipate their replacement.
GIG400: Test and Measurement Connector
This connector is to be inserted between the 400 Hz connector and the aircraft receptacle, to give access to the measurement of each phase with a multimeter or digital oscilloscope when the aircraft or a load bank is actually supplied. This way, you can control the whole 400 Hz power supply chain in real situation and measure the voltage drops, the phase shifts, the efficiency of the voltage drop compensation, etc...
