Based on a well-proven format but designed specifically for the airport industry, SCAS-Air® provides the announcement of all incoming and outgoing flights, rescheduling and cancellations all automatically from your FIDS feed. The material is pre-recorded so standards of excellence are maintained 24/7 and is natural, believable human voice. 

Material is also available in foreign languages and dialects to maximise the ability of audio alone, if required, to get the right passenger at the right gate for the right flight. Equally, it can be used to complement visual signs.

 Alongside the flight messages, SCAS-Air® can also handle safety, security and ‘housekeeping’ (e.g. no smoking) announcements on a one-off or scheduled basis which means that once set up, the system can run unattended. Further, all broadcast zones can be pre-selected whilst SCAS-Air® can also handle live announcements.

As a subset, SCAS-Air® can also handle boarding announcements at each gate, ensuring the full passenger compliment boards each flight and saving costly baggage unloads. Externally, your telephone exchange can be linked into SCAS-Air® pre-recorded voice repertoire to give flight and service updates to passengers by phone-in or text message before they start their journeys.

Both features contribute to keeping ground staff motivated and passengers better able to plan their travel when adverse conditions prevail.

SCAS-Air® is charged on the basis of each airport’s throughput at commissioning stage and does not require a further annual premium each year, other than for updates and maintenance. Add-ons such as background music are only charged for once, although in this case there may be royalty payments required by a third party. This means that cross-charging to carriers is both transparent and efficient.

Voice Perfect’s® maintenance package ensures that all updates concerning carriers, flight numbers and destinations are in place well before they are required. Software upgrades and new releases can be handled remotely, whilst local agents or your own maintenance staff can become skilled in dealing with hardware rectification.

One of SCAS-Air’s® key features is its ease of set-up and use. Voice Perfect® pride themselves on the quality of user training provided on installation and on an ongoing basis if required. This means that staff do not need to have technical backgrounds to effect set-up and play of a day or a week’s worth of relevant, scheduled material.
