    Being the inventor of the Emergency Evacuation Airstair System EEAS, short “Rescuestair” , TEC Hünert is also one of the worldwide market leader for that product. The Rescuestair is basically designed to be used by Airport Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Brigades.

    Its original purpose is to quickly reach an aircraft that is involved in an accident, to rescue passengers out of the aircraft and to provide access for Rescueteams to the aircraft. Depending on the selected equipment version, it can also perform first firefighting actions.

    While it was originally developed to be used on airports, it is also very suitable for seaports or elevated railways.

     

     

     

  • Flexible Concepts for the Rescuestair

    With regard to customer preferences and different technical requirements on different airports, the Rescuestair system has been designed as a flexible concept.

    The superstructure parts can be built on several types of chassis, e.g. 4×2, 4×4, 6×4 which are available from all major chassis manufacturers like Mercedes-Benz, MAN or Volvo to name but a few. Many optional components and functional features are available, thus allowing perfect adaption to the specific requirements that may occur on the site of deployment.
