Belo Horizonte International Airport is recognized as the most punctual in the Americas

Punctuality also highlights the mining terminal as the 4th best in the world, according to the Cirium report

BH International Airport celebrates the performance recognized by the OTP Report, an airport and airline punctuality performance report, published monthly by Cirium, a company specializing in aviation data. Located in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, the Minas Gerais terminal is the most punctual in the Americas and the 4th in the world, in the category of medium-scale airports.

In the world ranking, Belo Horizonte International Airport represents Brazil with an OTP (On-Time Performance) of 91.25%. The first place went to the Japanese Chubu Centrair International Airport, which reached a rate of 95.85%. The also Japanese Sendai Airport, with 94.20% punctuality, and Kagoshima Airport, with 93.36%, were in second and third place in the ranking, respectively.

In this report, airport results are classified into four categories: global, large, medium and small scale.
