Hartsfield-Jackson is decking the halls and becoming a Global Winter Wonderland this holiday season! ATL will twinkle with events all December long, officially kicking off the merriment with a tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 3. More trees, lights, decorations and general good cheer will accompany passengers throughout the Airport. Share your holiday moments at ATL on social media using #ATLGWW.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m.
Domestic Terminal atrium

ATL officials, joined by diplomatic guests, holiday carolers, employees, volunteers and life-size children’s characters, marked the start of Global Winter Wonderland with the Hartsfield-Jackson Tree Lighting Ceremony. The event includes a series of customer appreciation events during one of the busiest travel seasons and special musical performances.

Trees from Around the World

Global Winter Wonderland showcases 11 holiday trees decorated by the Georgia Consular Corps throughout Concourse F in the International Terminal. Each of these trees will display the unique qualities of a different country, manifesting the diversity that we are so proud to have at the Airport and in the City of Atlanta.
