KIX new domestic area opening commemoration - A commemorative ‘’Sorayan’’ event will be held.

Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that it will hold a commemorative opening event of the new domestic area at Kansai International Airport (KIX) on October 26, 2022 (Wednesday), including AR contents of Kansai Airports Group’s official character “Sorayan,” its new scarf debut, and the sale of commemorative goods.

Kansai Airports Group will continue to create exciting and enjoyable experiences for our customers and promote T1 renovation project to enhance the functions of KIX, the gateway to the Kansai region that welcomes customers from Japan and abroad, with safety and security as our top priority.

By scanning the 2D code below, you can make Sorayan AR come up anywhere you like. In addition, you can find a photo spot where a “limited version’s Sorayan AR” in a different pose appears in the area after the security check at new domestic area, Terminal 1 Building. Enjoy taking a commemorative photo with Sorayan AR.

Sorayan’s new scarf debut!
To celebrate the opening of the new domestic area, a new scarf design for Sorayan was selected from among the ideas received from customers. Sorayan will wear the new designed scarf on the opening day. Can’t wait!
