Lighting in favor of August Lilac at Belo Horizonte International Airport

Belo Horizonte International Airport supports a campaign to combat violence against women and spaces are lit in lilac

As a company that seeks and cares for social responsibility and human rights, BH Airport supports the Agosto Lilás campaign. To demonstrate its involvement in the cause and strengthen the movement, the concessionaire lit up some of its spaces in lilac. The objective is to bring visibility to the topic and expand knowledge about existing legal provisions and how to help victims.

More than 31,000 reports of domestic violence were registered in the first half of 2022 in Brazil, according to data from the National Human Rights Ombudsman. To strengthen the fight against this crime, the August Lilás national campaign was created, in reference to the sanction of the Maria da Penha Law.
