Asia Warehousing Show (AWS), the 2nd International Trade Fair for warehousing, distribution, materials handling, mobility, logistics and supply chain was appreciated for being business matchmaking & learning platform for the industry.

During the three days of event, a total of 4,152 trade visitors came to the exhibition centre in Bangkok. These statistics were recorded by independent organization TCEB of Thailand. “The high level of interest from the visitors is a vote of confidence in the concept behind this event and in the general growth trend of AWS,” confirmed Kiran Mittal, Managing Director of Manch Exhibitions, referring to the growing international scope of this trade fair.

Commencing the show’s inauguration ceremony, Mr. Zaldy Masita, Chairman, Indonesia Logistics Association said, “Asia Warehousing Show is one of the solution to minimize the gap where we could share and learn from best logistics practice, new products in logistics & supply chain, and new ways of logistics process. Thailand has play significant active role in ASEAN Logistics Development”.

Concurrent conference running alongside exhibition attended by 163 decision makers from distinguished industries offers attendees a complete knowledge cum technology experience at Warehousing & Cold Chain Summit. The conference was based on the theme New Business, New Markets: The Way Forward for Warehousing & Cold Chain Business’ and gave ample of business matchmaking and learning opportunities.

Key Figures:

Great interest on the part of exhibitors and the trade audience was also evident in E-Commerce Logistics Show, which this year was held for the second time as part of Asia Warehousing Show. This focuses on the close integration of logistics with the trading and distribution processes in B2B and B2C. “This year´s E-Commerce Logistics Show has confirmed that e-commerce and Omni channel processes and the logistics that underpin these processes do indeed complement each other very well,” added by Kiran Mittal.

In 2018, the event is expected to expand into bigger space, with a further rise in exhibitor numbers. “We want to offer the trade audience not only a bigger event, but also diverse and attractive solutions,” summed up Managing Director, Kiran Mittal.

The next edition of Asia Warehousing Show has been announced from 2nd to 4th May 2018 in Bangkok.
