FIGURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES: A record number of 5532 visitors, an increase of 15% compared to its previous edition, attended Asia Warehousing Show 2019 held from 27-29 March at BITEC, Bangkok. Exhibition & conference addressed the challenges faced by ASEAN logistics, warehousing and supply chain community. Aim of the show is to help companies to achieve seamless logistics systems to improve connectivity both within and cross-countries to reach 4.0 age.

Asia Warehousing Show concluded on a high note at BITEC, Bangkok and has continued its dominance as the most significant platform in Thailand for sourcing technology and equipment for warehousing, material handling, logistics and supply chain Industry. Almost all the exhibitors from Thailand and abroad were quite satisfied with the quality and quantity of the visitors who attended the exhibition. With the addition of the new zone- Robotic & Automation4Llogistics, many companies used this platform to launch their latest automation technology and innovations.

A total of 63 exhibitors from 6 countries presented their products and technologies during the three trade fair days. The exhibition once again confirmed its position as the best business platform that provides customized solutions for the Thai and neighboring markets. AWS witnessed visitors from 37countries comprising of key decision makers from 3 PL / 4 PL, warehouse Consultants. Automobile & Automotive Components, Cement & Building Materials, Electronics & Electricals, Food & Beverages, Heavy Engineering Products Manufacturers, Liquor & Wine, Logistics & Shipping, Pharmaceutical and Retail & e-Commerce.

Asia Warehousing Show 2019 managed to increase its quantitative and qualitative superiority, surpassing any previous record of traffic.

75% of exhibitors were satisfied with their participation and evaluated Asia Warehousing Show as good platform to exhibit. This has given immense confidence to all participating companies from Thailand & abroad to confirm their participation for the next edition of this exhibition. 92% of visitors rated AWS as the preferred platform to source their logistics and warehousing solutions and services.

Concurrent Asia Warehousing & Logistics Summit themed ‘Logistics & Warehousing Development in ASEAN: The Many Complex Challenges Ahead’ on 27 and 28 March 2019 proved to be a perfect knowledge sharing and networking platform. An exclusive seminar by National Metal and Materials Technology Centre (MTEC) was another striking feature for attendees of the trade fair.

The exhibition inauguration was held in the gracious presence of Mr. Passakorn Chairat, Deputy Directors – General Department of Industrial Promotion, Ministry of Industry, Mr. Nattapume Pavaratn, Representative of Warehouse Silo and Cold Storage Business Association of Thailand, Mr. Anuchit Narkglom ,Representative of Thai Automation and Robotics Association and Mrs. Kiran Mittal, Managing Director, Manch Exhibitions (Thailand) Co., Ltd. along with other dignitaries.

In his inaugural speech, Mr. Passakorn Chairat, Deputy Directors – General Department of Industrial Promotion, Ministry of Industry said “Asia Warehousing Show is very strategic as ASEAN is a region which is developing very rapidly, and supply chain and logistics contribute a lot in the growth of any country. This event will serve business players an opportunity to watch new developments in the sector.”
