The 2015 Air Cargo Handling Conference will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from 1st to 3rd September. The event will be held at the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel in the heart of the city, on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.
The 7th annual ACH Conference will be the first time the global event has been staged outside of Europe and promises to combine the best elements of the last six successful years, including scheduled one-to-one meetings designed to optimise delegates’ valuable time and maximise the opportunity for productive meetings and networking.
The conference event is widely recognised and established as the global air cargo handling sector’s premier annual gathering and the expectation is that holding the event in Asia will help to expand the range of delegates from this key air freight region and its important emerging and established markets – in addition to its existing core supporters from around the world. It will retain and further sharpen its action-orientated, solution-focused approach, examining best practice, new developments and deliverable improvements in key areas of air freight operations.
The event will feature panel discussions, workshops, and focused presentations covering the most up-to-date developments in airport cargo operations, including sessions on: quality and standards; demand patterns from customers; airport community initiatives; security; processes and technology; interfaces between cargo handlers, ramp handlers, customs authorities and other parts of the chain; emerging markets; and case studies on optimising efficiency.
