Borders & Infrastructure Expo

Event Information

The Borders & Infrastructure Expo is a brand new show within the IFSEC portfolio, directly focussing on products, solutions and learning for large scale security issues such as border control, critical national infrastructure, and the protection of key strategic assets. A “show within a show,” Borders & Infrastructure will feature its own entrance, networking areas, and refreshment services, but visitors will also have full access to the rest of IFSEC International, FIREX, and the entire Protection & Management Series.

Event Profile

  • About IFSEC International

The leading security conference and exhibition, IFSEC International covers every aspect of security, from access control and video surveillance to smart buildings, cyber, border control and so much more.

Borders & Infrastructure is a new show within IFSEC International, providing visitors from a range of vertical sectors, such as aviation, transport, and government, a dedicated destination of their own. So many senior security professionals from these sectors are already visiting IFSEC on a regular basis and in significant numbers, so a focused area within the show, will provide you with a far greater, relevant and rewarding experience.

  • The Drone Zone

For IFSEC 2017, the highly successful Drone Zone will be hosted within Borders & Infrastructure. Not only are the UAV products very engaging in a live environment, but they are extremely topical at the present time. The Drone Zone will feature live demonstrations, the latest in innovations from UAV manufacturers, and insight on how to both utilise drones in your security strategy and protect against them.

  • Product Testing

Borders & Infrastructure will feature live product demonstration and testing areas hosted by our colleagues at BRE Global. BRE Global carries out rigorous testing on a range of security products for government and will be looking at areas such as security fence testing as active daily demonstrations live on the show floor.

  • Dedicated Networking

In order to cater to the specific interests of the Borders & Infrastructure visitor groups, the exhibition will feature a dedicated area for networking and informal meetings. The needs of such visitors are very different to the traditional security installers, therefore a dedicated area will enable specific peer to peer meetings and conversations away from the more traditionally trafficked IFSEC areas.
