Africa’s aviation industry handles nearly 70 million passengers every year and this has estimated to generate 6.9 million jobs and $80bn of economic activity and over the next 20 years, and aims to become one of the fastest-growing aviation regions, with an average annual expansion of about 5%.

As a number of airports in West Africa are undergoing expansion in a bid to cater for rapidly growing passenger and cargo traffic, airports managers and heads of civil aviation authorities are met with the challenging task to deliver expansion projects that will meet international standards and drive revenue aviation and non-aviation activities.
