Howe Green 7500 Series Medium-Duty Floor Access Covers


The 7500 Series Medium-Duty Floor Access Duct Cover from Howe Green enables safe and easy access to building services, such as cabling, concealed under interior or exterior flooring.

The duct covers can be fitted quickly and unobtrusively, with minimum disruption, into all types of hard floor finish including ceramic tiles, marble, terrazzo, resin and parquet.

Manufactured in stainless steel or aluminium the duct covers have a 5-tonne pneumatic tyre wheel load suitable for pedestrian traffic, cars and light delivery vehicles. The stainless steel duct cover is preferable if a thicker non-wearing flooring is to be installed.

The underfloor services are accessed by removing the duct covers with lifting keys or the Howe Green Access Cover Skate. The lifting blocks are anchored to the inner frame of the duct cover

Double seals are available as an option as is fire rating of up to 2 hours to BS 476-20

All duct covers are precision manufactured and made to measure. This allows the manufacture of any size between the stated maximum and minimum dimensions.

The versatile nature of the Howe Green system allows any configuration of ducts and branches to be created.

The duct covers are manufactured in the UK in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001.

Howe Green 7500 Series Medium-Duty Floor Access Duct Covers have been specified for use in numerous airports, including Heathrow T5, Gatwick, Stansted and Birmingham.

They are an ideal for accessing the building services required to support E-Passport gates and self-service kiosks.
