Casper installed its first Cirrus Environmental Invictus NoisePoles at Leeds Bradford Airport. Part of the installation of Casper Noise as the new noise monitoring and track keeping system at Leeds Bradford Airport was the installation of 4 new noise monitors. The challenge was that three of the noise monitors were in locations with either very limited space or vulnerable to vandalism.
The Cirrus Environmental Invictus NoisePole is a permanently installed Noise Monitoring Terminal housed in an standard street lighting pole. This turned out perfect for the situation. Together with our partner Cirrus Environmental, Casper installed the noise monitors inside the existing poles.
Communication of the noise monitors with the Casper system is through 3G. In combination with the Casper Noise software this provides Leeds Bradford Airport with a new state-of-the-art noise monitoring system.
