Solution Provides Powerful Tool to Enhance Airport Operations Productivity

ARINC Incorporated today announced that Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom) has chosen ARINC's Global Networks and IT Solutions (GNITS) to provide a comprehensive airport messaging and analysis service solution at Las Americas International airport (SDQ) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

ARINC is providing an integrated AviNet service solution; Airport Messaging and Messaging Analyst. ARINC's Airport Messaging delivers the desired data to airport customers globally while the Messaging Analyst enables the customer to manage and analyze the data received.

ARINC's Airport Messaging will enable Aerodom to capture Load Messages (LDM) from all air transport carriers (Passenger and Cargo) operating at Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) in Santo Domingo. The ARINC Messaging Analyst will process the LDM messages and conduct statistical analysis of key parameters defined by the customer. The data output will permit Aerodom to conduct financial reconciliation and operations analysis to improve airport efficiency.

Aerodom operates six (6) airports in the Dominican Republic: Las Americas in Santo Domingo, Gregorio Luperon in Puerto Plata, Presidente Juan Bosch and Arroyo Barril in Samana, La Isabela, Dr. Joaquin Balaguer in Santo Domingo Norte, and Maria Montez in Barahona. Las Americas International airport (SDQ), is the initial site where Aerodom will implement ARINC's integrated Airport Messaging and Messaging Analyst solution. An expansion of ARINC's services to other Aerodom's airport sites is envisioned.

"The capability by ARINC to capture operational data from the entire air transport sector operating at SDQ was a key factor in our selection process. Their knowledge of operational data content and structure was another reason we chose ARINC ," stated Nelson Guerrero, Aerodom's technology manager.

"Aerodom recognizes the importance of capturing and analyzing airline operational data to improve airport productivity," stated Yun Chong, ARINC Vice President, Global Networks and IT Solutions. "We are excited to be supporting a recognized regional leader, and look forward to helping them improve airport operations."
