Champion GSE to Partner With Singapore Aerospace and Aviation

Champion GSE, an industry-leading producer of Stronghold engine stands, containers and affiliated ground support equipment — including the first-ever, dual-purpose engine stand for GEnx -1B and -2B engines — announced the company has partnered with Singapore Aerospace and Aviation Services Pte Ltd (SAAS), an aircraft ground support equipment (GSE) and services provider headquartered in Singapore.
Through this partnership, Champion GSE customers in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea and Macau will have access to GEnx engines. Offerings will expand to include CFM56, GE90, and LEAP tools as well as a general aviation small engine stand. SAAS products will also now be available to Champion GSE’s customers in the U.S.
“This partnership marks another pivotal point for Champion GSE and its customers, as we now have the opportunity to extend our sales, training and after-purchase support to those in the Southeast Asia region,” said Todd DeVore, vice president and general manager of Champion GSE.
The SAAS team has tremendous depth of experience providing GSE resources that include new equipment, maintenance, repair and spare parts support to military, airlines, aircraft maintenance providers and ground handling companies.

Champion GSE also recently announced its partnership with Excel Aviation, a specialist manufacturer headquartered in the United Arab Emirates. Excel Aviation is serving as Champion GSE’s exclusive regional representative and providing training, sales and after-sales support for Champion GSE’s Middle Eastern customers.
