Emulate3D UGM – Agenda Sneak Peek – Feb 21-22
The Dennis Group, Mati Chessin – In the Food and Beverage industry clients handle a wide variety of different ingredients to make their products. To meet their modeling needs, we’ve developed ways to handle loose, bulk, and liquid objects within Demo3D. These tools have been successfully used in both simulation and emulation models. This talk will explain how it works, how to maintain mass balance, and tricks to keep in mind when executing these projects.
Haskell, Sheldon Smith – Haskell and Rockwell Automation partnered to create a VR-ready emulation model for the 2017 Automation Fair. We combined the latest in Rockwell’s PLC hardware, browser-based HMIs, and Emulate3D’s VR capabilities to create an immersive experience. This presentation will highlight the successes and lessons learned from this first-of-a-kind demonstration.
Emulate3D – It wouldn’t be a User Group Meeting if you weren’t allowed an early look at the new features and functionality coming out in the upcoming major release. We’ll be presenting advanced CAD import from SOLIDWORKS, Emulate3D Controls Testing for Machine Builders, the QuickLogic Rack configurator and catalog (which combines rack creation, reporting, population, storage and retrieval), as well as the tools, components and tricks we use to produce our Virtual and Augmented Reality models, as well as much more that you won’t want to miss.
Feb 20 – Little America, Salt Lake City, Utah – The pre-User Group Meeting Training Day is a great place to hone your skills, raise your productivity, and learn directly from our highly experienced trainers. We’ll be running two parallel courses – one Professional Level Training for those who have attended the online workshop, and an Advanced Level Training course for those who want to do more with their scripting skills to create intelligent catalog items or get more from their models.

Make it a date now, and drop by our two booths while you’re there.
Emulate3D will be showcasing their new Emulate3D Controls Testing for Machine Builders at SOLIDWORKS World 2018, in Los Angeles, California, February 5-7. Design your new machine and mark it up using the Emulate3D add-in to create a running model, connected to its control system, with one click. Create virtual prototypes and test out their logical operation in a significantly reduced timescale – get your new machines to market faster, fully tested.
