The Tampere-based defence and aviation company Jet-Tekno is seeking significant growth in international markets. The company has hired a new Managing Director, Karri Keskinen, 39, to carry out the plans.
Karri Keskinen is highly experienced in international business. Before joining Jet-Tekno, Keskinen served as the Director of Service Contracts at Kalmar. His previous positions include marketing management of automation and project business functions at Kalmar and product sales functions for EMEA markets.
Stepping down from the position of Managing Director at Jet-Tekno is Jouko Sokka, who performed his duties with distinction. Sokka will introduce the new Managing Director to his duties and support the development of an international growth strategy for Jet-Tekno.
“Karri Keskinen will provide Jet-Tekno with strong expertise and experience in international technology and service business,” says Max Gylling, Chairman of the Board of Directors and major shareholder of Jet-Tekno.
As of the start of 2019, Keskinen has a few months’ worth of experience at Jet-Tekno.
“As a company, we represent Finnish design and Arctic know-how. We are innovative and passionate about our work. Our products are manufactured in Finland, and our employees top professionals in our industry.”
Keskinen believes the company to have the prerequisites for strong international growth.
“We are transparent in our interactions with all parties. Through openness, we wish to ensure high manufacturing and production quality. As I see it, upholding these values in our operations has been one of the key success factors for Jet-Tekno. These same factors also form the basis for international growth.”
