On their brand-new Premium bag drop world tour both companies will jointly present the complete end-to-end passenger journey – from home to destination.

Seamless travelling starts at home in the living room when passengers check-in and tag their bags with electronic bag tags using the innovative Rimowa mobile App or later at one of the Materna kiosks at the airport equipped with automatic face enrolment for biometric identification allowing passengers to make use of latest kiosk technology made for specific requirements and ADA-compliance, of course.

Visitors at stand 5040 will also experience the whole range of self bag drop solutions designed for one or two-step bag drop processes, all based on intuitive graphical user guidance. Materna as the leading supplier for self bag drop offers different solutions based on retrofit or kiosk models which even fit to challenging customer requirements.

After that easiest way of dropping-off their suitcases, passengers can make use of single biometric token technologies to enter the security area using Materna´s secure access gates with biometric identification and enjoy airport facilities or proceed to their gates directly where they use Materna’ s biometric self boarding gates.
