Northamptonshire Business BACA’s European Expansion

Northamptonshire based business BACA Workwear & Safety is celebrating its successful European expansion with the acquisition of a new company in France.

The independently run safety and work wear specialists is expanding its European presence with the announcement it’s acquired Actipro, a safety wear business in France, where BACA will now distribute its exclusive Veltuff ranges of premium protective wear.

Actipro, a long-established business with a one and half million euro turnover, is now part of the BACA group of companies. New and existing customers in France will now have access to the Veltuff range of safety clothing and footwear, which BACA distributes direct from its UK headquarters in Northampton.

BACA’s Ben Calder, European Sales Director, said: “The drive and desire for BACA to continue its successful growth commercially continues to gain momentum. The acquisition of Actipro will increase our production by 10% and will lead to the creation of new jobs here in the UK in the near future.

“The French market can now not only benefit from our Veltuff ranges but also our work wear personalisation services and garment branding. This latest development is the next step in our long term business plan to expand throughout Europe.”
