The perfect drive for baggage handling systems – cost effective and easy to service

At the inter airport Europe 2017 trade show, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will showcase drive solutions for airport baggage logistics. The range of standardized decentralized drive units in three preferred sizes enables particularly simple and efficient project planning, engineering, commissioning, and maintenance.

Comprising an IE4 motor, bevel gear and a field distribution system, NORD LogiDrive systems meet all typical performance requirements of baggage handling systems. IE4 motor efficiency (Super Premium Efficiency) and IES2 system efficiency ensure the drive units perform very economically, especially in partial load operation.

As a result, they quickly pay for themselves and significantly reduce the total cost of ownership. The drives support all commercially available fieldbuses and Industrial Ethernet protocols.

Power supply, key and direction switches are available to enable flexible operation on location. NORD provides dedicated assistance for plant manufacturers and operators to find drive solutions tailored to their needs.
