Last weekend marked an exciting milestone for Regula celebrating its 26th anniversary and setting its foot in Trinidad & Tobago Piarco International Airport.
The newly launched automated border control system at the Piarco International Airport arrivals area was unveiled to all travelers and put into operation on July 28th. It includes 12 self-service kiosks fully equipped with Regula document readers.
The automated passport system itself is implemented to increase efficiency and to put Trinidad & Tobago alongside major countries that have already had such systems in use.
A similar border control system is also expected to be featured in the departures area of the Piarco International Airport and later on at the ANR Robinson International Airport.
