Main concept is the newly developed taxiway guidance sign. It is illuminated by LED in a significant more favorable configuration than the existing systems.
The power consumption and therefore also the carbon footprint has been reduced to the lowest possible level so far.
The FLAT-Light TGS is the only guidance sign that has proven in practice to be strong enough to withstand the jet blast 483km/h (mode 3) of the most powerful aircrafts like Airbus A380, Boeing 777 and Dreamliner.
FLAT-Light Taxiway Guidance Sign
With signage it’s all about reliability, safety, sustainability, visibility, power consumption, warrantee, maintenance/repair cost, all summarized and consolidated in the Total Cost of Ownership.
It is evident that the AAS International signs are in compliance with all airworthiness guidelines, included but not limited to the EASA and ICAO guidelines.
FLAT-Light Runway Distance Markers
Also with distance markers it’s all about reliability, safety, sustainability, visibility, power consumption, warrantee, maintenance/repair cost, once again all summarized and consolidated in the Total Cost of Ownership.
The AAS International distance markers are in compliance with all airworthiness guidelines, included but not limited to the STANAG, EASA and ICAO guidelines.
Variable Guidance Signs
Latest development, together with Schiphol Amsterdam Airport is the variable guidance sign or vehicle traffic sign.
This digital LED sign will communicate with the airport systems. It can show different digital messages to drivers of towing vehicles and/or pilots and supports using the infrastructure more efficiently.
It is evident that these signs also comply with all EASA/ICAO directives.
