The Stripe Hog Waterblasting System quickly and completely removes all types of durable traffic markings from asphalt and concrete surfaces with the least amount of negative impact to the surface. The Stripe Hog does its work using many needle-sharp 40,000 psi water jets and a powerful vacuum recovery system, called the Smart Vac that leaves the road or runway clean and almost dry. The resulting debris is quickly dehydrated using a patented process, so that the debris can then be dumped in a dried state in one big clump that easily falls from the tank making the jobsite cleanup easy and complete.

Runway Rubber Removal
Every time an airplane lands it leaves a small amount of rubber on the runway surface. This rubber melts to the surface, working its way into the grooves cut into the runway for water drainage and additional friction. Overtime, this rubber builds up on the runway surface causing it to lose its friction characteristics, becoming slippery and eventually unsafe for aircrafts to land on. This rubber also starts obscuring runway paint markings creating additional safety concerns.
Stripe Hogs quickly and effectively removes runway rubber deposits, returning the necessary friction characteristics to the surface without adversely affecting the surface profile.
Because Stripe Hogs only use water there are no messy caustic chemicals to clean up leaving the surface clean and relatively dry allowing the runway to be used almost immediately after cleaning.
