Aerospace & Defence Meetings Sevilla

Event Information

The only matchmaking program for the aerospace & defense industries in Spain

Over the past six editions, A&DM Sevilla has established itself as the most prominent matchmaking program for the aerospace and defense industries in Spain.

A&DM Sevilla connects OEMs and their Tier 1 & 2 suppliers, with manufacturers and service providers from both civil and defense aviation, through a series of individually tailored one-to-one meetings.

A unique opportunity to meet with relevant buyers and reliable partners.

ANDALUSIA –
A key region in the aerospace sector

Andalusia is one of the main aeronautical hubs in Europe, with 2,071 million euros in 2020, representing 1,41% of ANDALUSIA’s GDP.

141 aeronautical companies operate in Andalusia and employ more than 12,177 specialists. Andalusia, together with Toulouse and Hamburg is the third point in Europe and the only one in Spain, where the manufacturing and assembly of a large plane (A400M) is completed. For this reason, as well as for the turnover, it is considered as the third aeronautical pole in Europe, strengthened by the presence of Airbus Group which is developing significant projects in the military transport segment in the region, such as the final assembly line of the A400M, C235 and C295 as well as part of the construction of the Airbus A380.

Andalusia also hosts major Spanish tier-one suppliers, Aciturri, Alestis and Aernnova, who provide manufactured components such as aero structures, composite and metallic parts as well as engineering and other services to projects such as the Eurofighter Typhoon or Boeing’s B737.

They also provide opportunities for the many other aerospace suppliers located in Andalusia. Andalusia is also one of Europe’s leading locations for the development and testing of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). “Atlas”, the only UAS Experimental Flight Centre in Spain, is located here and offers a reserved airspace of 35×30 km as well as a main runway of 800 metres that is suitable for light UAVs. The Spanish government has recently chosen Andalusia as the location for “CEUS”, Spain’s UAS centre of excellence that will also have a runway for heavy UAVs.
