Gatic Access Covers and Frames

The Gatic range of ductile iron engineered removable access covers are ideally suited to the demands of a modern airport. Load tested to 900kn the covers will withstand, with adequate factors of safety, wheel loadings imparted by the heaviest aircraft in service.

Covers are available with either a non slip solid top or are recessed for concrete infill at site. Sizes range from single man access covers through trench covers for pipe/cable access to multi part units with removable support beams, which facilitate uninterrupted access to large chambers, where there are below ground services.

The machined fit between the covers and frames ensures that the covers are non rocking, secure, gas/airtight and will prevent ingress of water into the chamber.

Gatic Drainage Gratings and Frames

The Gatic range of ductile iron engineered removable drainage gratings are ideally suited to facilitate the removal of surface water from aprons/runways/taxiways etc.

Load tested to 900kn the gratings will withstand, with adequate factors of safety, wheel loadings imparted by the heaviest aircraft in service.

Gratings are available in a variety of widths from 300 through to 810 clear opening whether as single catch pit units or butted together in a continuous trench run.

The machined fit between the gratings and frames ensures that the gratings are non rocking under traffic.

Gatic Assist Lift Covers and Frames

Gatic Assist Lift Covers are the ideal solution where frequent access to underground services and equipment is required.

Designed for one person operation the hinged covers are available as single and double units and incorporate stainless steel springs to provide the lift assistance. An integrated hold open safety bar is included with a slam latch fitted as standard.
